This is a nice vintage blue and white Chinese Jingdezhen teapot with two wicker handles and small lid. Dated from the years 1940-1970's, this teapot has a hand painted design of blue flowers, leaves and borders on a rice or grain texture throughout. There are holes inside for pouring and the lid has two openings for venting. Made of fine porcelian china, this piece is in good condition, aside from a few firing marks and one tiny nick on the lid. Please view the pictures for close up details. This teapot measures about 6 1/2" tall without the handles and 8 1/2" tall with them. The width is about 6 1/2" wide from handle to spout. Marked in blue underglaze on the bottom "Made in China" with Chinese characters over it. A great vintage find, perfect for any home or collection! Shipped with care and tracking.
