    Description

    Heats fast and gets the job done right. I was able to quickly solder a copper 14 AWG splice. Good choice for when a 100/140 Watt gun does not provide enough heat for the task. Both spotlights work.  No issues with either bakelite shell.

    Comparable to the Weller 8250A and uses the identical tips. I would not be surprised if it was manufactured by Weller under contract to Sears.
    These older units are preferred by many because they were made to last for many years of service.
    Comes with one extra tip (Weller type 7250) along with about an ounce of electronic solder, a flux brush and the original cardboard box which shows soil and wear. Appears to be infrequently used.
