    Description

    Exquisite Collectable Vintage Yixing Teapot
    Extremely rare sculptural design in the form of a nailed wooden box with hammer on the lid handle.
    Teapot measures 4-1/2" tall, 2-12" wide and 6-3/4" long.
    Bottom is completely covered with engraved lines representing wood grain and does not bear any stamped seal or signature chop marks.
    There are 2 minor chips on the lid at the front. Please reference the photo with the red circles.
    All the pots we offer where purchased in 1990 and we have no way to confirm their age beyond that time. Some may be older.
    We are listing them as used but it is clear that they have never been used due to the factory clay clay still present inside.
