Vintage Brush Pottery Company Green ‘Onyx’ Ovoid Vase (Style #05)

Description

This is a stunning art pottery vase that was made in the early 1930’s by the Brush Pottery Company, a pottery company established in Zanesville, Ohio in 1925 and remained in operation until 1982.
It is unmarked, which is common for early pieces of Brush Pottery, and stands approximately 6 ¼” tall.
This attractive vase features the company’s style #05 ovoid shape and the beautiful glossy green drip ‘onyx’ glaze.
In spite of a few manufacturing flaws, overall crazing and a few surface scratches, this vintage Brush Pottery vase is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, discolorations or any evidence of damage.  Note:  Please excuse the poor quality of the photos due to the glare from the overhead lighting.
