PERFECT Vintage Blue Opalescent Duncan & Miller "CANTERBURY" Vase!!

Description

Up for sale is an absolutely perfect vintage blue opalescent crimped vase in the “Canterbury” pattern by Duncan & Miller Glass!  Duncan/Miller made the Canterbury pattern in 1938 - the fluid shapes and varying thicknesses in the glass really capture and reflect the light beautifully!  This vase is in immaculate condition – there are no chips, cracks, flakes, fleabites, nicks or roughness anywhere, and the glass is nice and shiny – no stains, scratches, oxidation or other marks!  It glows fiery orange with opalescence when it's held up to the light, and it's nicely crimped around the top.  It stands 4 inches high, and it measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter across the top.  It stands on a polished ground bottom.  I have a few other hard-to-find pieces of the Canterbury pattern for sale in others auction, so be sure to take a look!  The Canterbury pattern can be seen either in Gene Florence’s “Elegant Glassware of the Depression Era” or in Coe’s “Elegant Glass – Early, Depression & Beyond”.  The buyer will pay shipping (and insurance if desired).  Shipping will be combined for the buyer of more than one item whenever practical.  Shipping is normally within 24 hours after receipt of PayPal payment (if other payment options are desired, please don’t hesitate to inquire).
