The teapot is made of original old steel grey Zisha clay,the texture of it is very fine and its has a great effect of visualization.Teapot is well made with a flat and round body,which displays impressive tolerance. And the knife is used as the writing brush to engrave fine handwriting & picture on its body,fully displaying the characteristics of Zisha clay materical's decoration and the traditional skill of Zisha pottery.With firm mark of artist's name on the bottom. This teapot has both useful value and ornamental value.
Wang BaoGen 汪宝根
(1890—1954),byname XuZhai,YiXing famous potter .He learn ZiSha art from his uncle Wang ChunRong,who was famous potter in the later of QingDynasty,fellow students with master Zhu KeXin and Wu YunGen.Once work for JinDing Brand and Tie HuaXuan shop,and his DongPo Overhead handle teapot win master award in U.S Chicago World's Fair.
