NOS DRIVER-HARRIS Partial Spool Nichrome Wire, 24 Gauge, Approx. 930 Feet

For sale is a vintage partial spool of DRIVER-HARRIS Co. nichrome wire, on a Driver-Harris spool.   It was left behind in the electronics supplies inventory of my late father.   He was an active HAM radio operator for 70 years, and was a radio and other electronics serviceman for much of his life.  He always kept a good inventory of spare parts and components on hand for quick repairs or handy for his own projects.   Looks like he started this roll, but left a good deal of wire.   It appears to be 24 gauge.
It is always tricky figuring out how much wire is left, but fortunately the spool for this wire is exactly like the spools for some Kanthal A-1 wire that I'm also listing.   (The tare weight of this spool may have been listed on the label, but it is too faded to tell.)   The Kanthal spool's weight is 0.45 pounds.   This nichrome wire spool's gross weight is 1.5 pounds.  Subtract the 0.45 tare weight, and I have 1.05 pounds of wire.  I find on line that 1 pound of nichrome wire, 24 gauge, is 885 feet, so I'm figuring we have about 929 feet left.   I'm pretty sure that's close, anyway.
