    Description

    CHARMING MINI-TEAPOT with ANCIENT IMMORTALS/PHILOSOPHERS as DECOR
    Ancient-look teapot for collecting or for decor that is inspired by artistic Asian traditions. A warm bronze metal look lends itself to ancient designs. Bronze is a mixed metal made differently in different applications. It does not attract a magnet so it's not iron. I don't know what the coating or solid make-up is. I like the color and effect with this interesting array of characters.
    The Immortals/Philosophers are sculpted well in deep relief. The sages are holding their manuscripts, scrolls and tablets or the like. Suspended around the sages are Chinese writing/characters and flying bats. Bats are a Chinese tradition too.
    SIZE  3 3/8" tall x 4 3/4" wide from spout tip to handle edge x 3 1/4 deep, front to back. It rests on 3 feet. Information on base is in Chinese characters.
    CONDITION  Looks unused and new in an antique patina.
