Description

Nelson McCoy Company of Ohio made this attractive footed urn. According to the "Encyclopedia of McCoy Pottery," this style was called Butterfly and introduced in 1940. Nice floral/leaf decoration around the top with vertical bands on the body. There is hairline (see photos) about 1 1/2" long on the outside and about 3" visible on the inside. Some marking, glaze pops and wear, but generally good condition. Measures 8" wide x 7" tall. Last photo is from the reference book on McCoy.
