Magswitch 8100377 MagJig 235 Magnetic Fixturing Welding Clamp, Holds 235 Pounds
Magswitch engineers innovative technology to improve safety, productivity, and efficiency in industries like welding, fabrication, automation, manufacturing, heavy industry, and woodworking. MagJigs by Magswitch are fixturing clamps used to create fences, assembly jigs, cutting fixtures, blade guards, or work supports. Simply drill a hole in your fixture and place the MagJig in to use as a downward pressure clamp.
The Magjig 235 is designed to easily secure flat or round pieces of steel or wood with a magnetic holding force of 235 pounds. The welding magnet can be turned on or off by rotating the knob. To build custom fixtures drill a 56-millimeter hole using a Forstner bit into standard 0.75-inch stock, and drop in the MagJig 235 into the hole. Magswitch recommends using 1 or more of these fixture clamps per project to avoid pivot and to guarantee strength and flexibility.
