Esser 801371 9200 Series smoke alarms are used in the analog ring loops of Essertronic 8000C, Essertronic 8000M, EssertronicIQ8Control C and Essertronic IQ8Control M.
Esser 801371 smoke detectors are installed in the appropriate mounting bases Esser 781590, Esser 781591 (base with built-in relay) or Esser 801593 (base with built-in loop isolator and the ability to connect an external indicator).
The principle of detecting a fire detector is to generate pulses of infrared radiation, capture reflected infrared light and analyze its reflectivity. The detector is triggered when smoke particles enter its body.
All functions of the heat detector and its condition are checked at regular intervals by means of an integrated diagnostic system. The results of the checks are transmitted to the fire station. All failures and errors are displayed, even if the system is in test mode. It is also recommended to use the Esser 769870 smoke tester to test the health of Esser 801371 smoke detectors.
The source of false alarms for these fire detectors can be a visible air suspension of particles or vapors, for example, exhaust gases, cigarette smoke, dust.
