    Description

    Early Brush McCoy Pottery Mold 741 Green Vellum Floral Relief Vase.
    Through research, we reasonably believe this is a scarce 1930-40s Brush McCoy Pottery Co. vase, Mold 741, showcasing a green vellum glaze with pink/red floral decoration. The line was produced beginning in the 1930s through the 1940s.
    No markings on underside (Brush McCoy pieces were often not signed).
    It has beautiful lines, a dimensional green art vellum glaze with matte texture, and decorative rose/floral details on two sides with leaves as ornamental handles on the other two sides.
    It’s in very-good-to-excellent condition with gentle wear -- typical with vintage pottery, it has a few minor production imperfections including very small glaze rubs, a pinhole or two and surface scratches around the base and minor mineral stains inside. Other than that, there are no discernible flaws such as chips, cracks, or crazing.
