Sandwich was one of the largest lines produced by
Duncan and Miller. Sandwich was introduced into the Duncan line in 1924. It was originally given the name Early American Lace. The inspiration for the design for this pattern was taken from early Old Sandwich patterns. Several other companies produced their own versions of Sandwich, but Duncan's sandwich easily stands out from the others.  This elegant glass pattern has graced tables for years. There were a large number of items designed for this pattern including many serving and accessory items.
