Charleton decorations are the trade mark designation of the Abels, Wasserberg & Company. They purchased glass "blanks" from American and European manufacturers. They employed and trained a large staff of talented artists. The Charleton decorated glass from Fenton and Cambridge is probably seen most often. This cornucopia is from the Duncan & Miller Company and was probably done in the 1940's. The decoration is in excellent condition. There are 5 rows of roses and one row of leaves that follow the swirl of the cornucopia. The rim and the tip of the tail are decorated in gold.
It is in excellent used condition with no chips or cracks. The enamel decoration is great.
The cornucopia is approximately 14 1/2" long and 5 1/2" tall.
I rarely describe vintage china & glassware as perfect since it will acquire some use marks even from sitting on a shelf for most of its life. Vintage china & glassware may also have small bubbles, mold seams and marks that are inherent in the making of the item. I try to describe any issues that I consider more than average wear and certainly will point out any damage that I find. If nothing is noted it means the item does not have any damage, but it may have very minor use wear and the normal manufacturing conditions. I try to point out even minor items that I notice.

I pack everything with great care.  I use recycled material when I can, but mainly have to buy bubble wrap and peanuts. Your shipping cost is shown in the auction listing before you bid and is based on the shipping rates from my home to yours as computed by the eBay shipping calculator.  All of my items are unique. I weigh each item and then add one or two pounds for the estimated weight of the box and packing material. The shipping calculator is usually very close
to the actual amount of the shipping.
I inspect items carefully for any damage and try to describe the auction items clearly and accurately.  I will gladly refund your bid price if an item differs significantly from my description.  Items must be returned within 30 days of receipt to receive a refund.  Please contact me if you have any problems with my auction item.
