Painted copper wire with material number 2.0090 is covered with electrically insulating paint. This is made from special polymer solutions. The lacquer layer protects against short circuits and has good temperature resistance. When producing enamelled copper wire, deoxidized copper with a limited residual phosphorus content is used. This gives the material very good weldability and brazing properties. In addition, Cu enameled wire has excellent formability. It is also well resistant to non-oxidizing acids and corrosion.
