    Description

    Collectible Lovely Antique Duncan Early American Sandwich No. 41 12” Plate~EUC. Described in my Duncan Glass book as “true to the design and feeling of the old pressed glass makers of sandwich on Cape Code. It has a scintillating quality which comes from it’s all- over star and scroll design. Early writers said this design ‘sparkled like the dew-moistened leaves in the early morning’ it is sturdy and durable, yet it has a lacy loveliness that earned it the name ‘Lace glass.’” Originally made in the 1940’s.
    This preowned piece has no chips or cracks and is in very good condition. There are a couple utensil marks in the center on top which are minimal. It’s absolutely stunning.
