    Description

    All pieces of this vintage porcelain set are free of chips, cracks, or signs of repair. The teapot and platter have discolored flea bites, noted in the pictures. Each piece, the traditional blue-on-white, has the chrysanthemum,  the cultural symbol for happiness, longevity, love, and joy. They have retained a nice shine.
    The teapot is 5 1/8" tall without its lid. The interior is not stained from use, but has some discolored imperfections under the glaze. There is one stain dot on the exterior.
    Each tea cup with handle is 2 1/4" tall and 2 7/8" in diameter.
    The platter is 10 3/8" in diameter, and the rim is 3/4" high.  It has several flea bites and discolored dots under the glaze.  Unlike the teapot and cups, which share the same maker's mark (possibly Tienshan, but I can't read characters),  the platter is unmarked.
