This listing is for a beautiful Chinese hand painted porcelain tea pot in white with pastel colors and gold embellishments on tusks, around trunk / spout, and on rim of teapot. The lid is solid white and in the shape of a baby elephant with tusk and feet raised - a luck elephant pose, and lucky he is to ride on his mother's back through eternity! The teapot and lid are in very good, pre-owned vintage condition with no chips or cracks noted. The item is marked Made in China on the bottom and has Chinese symbols also. The teapot measures 8 inches long, is about 2 1/2 inches high, and stands about 6 inches high. It weighs 14.2 ounces.
