Brush Pottery Brown Onyx #50 Vase Vintage American Art Pottery ca 1930's

Description

This pottery vase measures about 6 3/8" tall and 5 1/2" wide. It is quite solid weighing about 2 pounds. It is unmarked but was made by Brush Pottery as part of their Onyx line. This is Brown Onyx, but there are several splashes of bluish-green which are very nice. This shape is number 50, and was first made in the 1920's, and for quite awhile after. The vase is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There is minor surface wear and some production imperfections. The glaze is very shiny and there are some light reflections in the pictures that are not there in person. Thanks for looking!
