The description is based on our combined knowledge, experience, and research.  Statements regarding maker, age, origin, condition etc. particularly on unmarked pieces, should be evaluated and confirmed by YOU THE BUYER, as you are the final judge.  Please ask questions that will help you in these evaluations.
Items were not perfect when produced. Quality control was not a factor in the 1800s or early 1900s. These items are antiques and collectables and show signs of wear and use as you would expect to find from daily usage. My 14 day return policy only applies to items that have significant, sizable, meaningful and blaring issues of condition that I failed to disclose in my ad. Superficial wear of blemishes incurred over a long period of time, which one would be expected to find does not meet the conditions of the RETURN POLICY.  Please review photos for a determination of condition also. Buy purchasing this item you understand and acknowledge that a 100 year old antique item such as this will have wear/alterations, etc, they are far too difficult, costly and time consuming to pack. I never charge for packing materials or for my time for packing (which is considerable when packing antique lamps & china). I cannot afford to pay for shipping because a buyer may be difficult and/or change their mind so please consider my complete description along with photos, and ask questions if need be. I have been selling original oil lamps and modified/electrified lamps for over 10 years, and I try to give the best quality and best service possible, all my lamps are genuine originals and if I ascertain a modification I state such. As being objects of great beauty they have proved to be a very sound investment in the past and I am sure they will continue to do so, I use quality materials for packing and have yet to receive any complaint about my delivery. I have many years experience in sending fragile goods through the post and take pride in my packing, my treasures arrive in the same condition they left me.
    Thank you for your consideration.
Just about every lamp and/or lighting fixture that I sell at one time has been in use, they were manufactured for use in extreme conditions and subject to heavy use, these lights have survived! They have already proven their ability to stand the test of time......this is a measure you simply will not find in ANY new light fixture made today. Cherished Hunts Antiques carries
the originals of what others copy today. Vintage light fixtures increase in value as the supply is diminished.
I have to put a FLAT RATE SHIPPING FOR THE 48 CONTIGUOUS STATES with WEST cost amount, which is the highest amount it will ship for, if you are closer to NJ the cost will be less, please contact me.
Shipping fee represents the size and fragile nature of the lamp, in 3 boxes plus insurance. Flat rate, if stated shipping represents the 48 contiguous states.
No PO Box, FedEx shipping cost calculated.
    All items are professionally packed.

My GUARANTEE: I will always list and describe (and answer questions) about my items with 100% honesty (good, bad and ugly).

As you know we cannot go to Macy's and purchase the articles that are offered in my store.
    I work very hard everyday
to provide accurate listings, multiple photographs, careful packaging,
fair shipping and fast & friendly communication to offer fine antiques to our eBay collectors.
These items are 100 years old in most cases, most have been used, we would hope that one
who  is collecting understands that old glass, porcelain and artisan wares were not
manufactured with the sophisticated technology that we have today, such as the
process of cookie cutting manufacturing, therefore there may be glaze pops, black pin dots, and minor factory flaws.
Please remember also that glass from the American Brilliant Period is that, it is of the late 1800's to
early 1900's, and would show light signs of use as you would want to find, consistent with age.
I hope that you may prefer to own such beautiful rare articles such as those that are offered
here in my store, a piece of the past which makes your collection unique.
